Land Acquisition Cost
The total project area is 1865 acres. (755 Ha.) 740 acres in Bhawana village has been acquired @ Rs. 7.33 lakhs/acre and Rs. 10,000 per acre has been paid towards compensation for structures. For the same land an enhanced compensation and solatium has also been paid @ Rs. 7.76 lakhs/acre amounting to rs. 56.76 crores, resulting in a total cost of Rs. 112.48 crores.
