IEM
Consequent to the enactment of DIDOM Act, 2010 on 30th March 2010, the management of Industrial areas/ estates and Flatted Factories earlier governed by the Industries Dept. GNCTD was transferred to DSIIDC. Since then
these areas are managed and looked after by the Industrial Estate Management Division (IEM Division) of DSIIDC. The list of these industrial Areas/Estates and
FFCs can be accessed from here. Apart from this, DSIIDC had constructed and allotted built-up industrial sheds/Flats on the land parcels under two schemes (i) Half a Million Job Programme (ii) Self Financing Scheme (SFS). Under Half a Million
Job Programme, 840 industrial built-up sheds were constructed at 8 different locations across NCT of Delhi. The details of these industrial sheds/Flats

Under the second scheme 'Self Financing Scheme', 456 industrial built-up sheds/Flats (both single storey and multi storey) were constructed and allotted at 4 different locations.

Presently the IEM division is mandated to look
after the land/ lease management of aforementioned industrial properties. It inter alia includes processing cases of conversion of industrial plot/shed from leasehold to freehold as per the "Conversion Scheme for conversion from
Leasehold to Freehold in respect of Industrial Plots/Sheds 2005, Change of Constitution (COC/Transfer/Substitution/Mutation)
cases under the provisions of Land Management Guidelines (LMG).
